IMPORTANT DAY OF INFORMATION

THIS IS IMPORTANT:    THIS IS NOT A RACE AND YOU ARE NOT HERE TO RACE.  THERE ARE NO TROPHIES TO WIN.  We are all here with the goal of leaving the same way we arrived and that goes for your cars as well.  There will be drivers that are faster than you and slower than you.   Be respectful of the driver in front of you and give them space they need as well as pass them with ample room so that an incident is not likely to occur.   I will go over the Passing rules at the drivers meeting but as always, we use a Point To Pass System and we drive and pass at Non Contact Distance.  If you do a YouTube Search for HPDE Point to Pass, a bunch of good videos come up.  For drivers that only want to be passed in the straight zones, I will ask that you put a Blue X on your rear window or bumper to signify this.  I will supply the blue painters tape for you to put the X on. Again I will go over this at the drivers meeting.

When you arrive please sign in and get a wristband.  You will sign a waiver upon entering the track and one for me when you sign in.

Helmets are Mandatory - The newer the better - Full Face is recommended but open face is allowed.  Pocono DOES NOT rent helmets.  Everyone in the car must wear a helmet.

Passengers are allowed for free and must wear a helmet and spectators are welcomed as well.

There is no Car Tech at Pocono - It is your responsibility  to make sure your car is track ready and that no fluid will leak from it onto the track.

NOTE:  IF YOU CARS LEAKS ANY FLUID (OIL, GAS, COOLANT ETC.) ON THE TRACK AND THE TRACK CREW NEEDS TO CLEAN IT UP, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CLEAN UP BILL....NOT THE 110 CLUB.

ALSO, THERE IS NO ROLL BACK (FLATBED) AT THIS TRACK.  ALL CARS SHOULD HAVE THE ABILITY TO BE TOWED BY HAVING TOW HOOK ON THE FRONT OF THE CAR.  MOST CARS HAVE THE TOW HOOK IN THE TIRE FLAT KIT IN THE CAR.
